Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten

Japhet’s Preschool offers a theme-driven, play-based curriculum that encourages learning by providing children the tools for self-discovery.

Families create schedules that fit their schedules within the program — full days, half-days, or a combination.

Preschool enrolls up to 16 students per day.

Preschool maintains an 8-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio.

Preschoolers enjoy daily outdoor play or large-motor skill development in our full-size gym.

In addition to daily exercise, artistic projects, and singing in the Preschool classroom, Preschoolers enjoy weekly Library, Music, and Spanish classes taught by Japhet specialists.

Preschoolers are toilet-trained, and are 3 or 4 years old by November 1st.

In Preschool we begin laying the foundation for language, math, science, and thinking skills. Character qualities such as good judgment, justice, reliability, self-control, and peacemaking are encouraged and practiced throughout the school day.
